The FC Enikon Augsburg was a German football club from Augsburg, Bavaria that was active from the late 70s until the mid-90s. History The club was formed in 1978 by Croatian migrants and languished in the lower leagues of the Schwaben football league system for most of its short existence. It climbed into higher-level competition through the financial support of Croatian construction company Enikon. The team rose rapidly through the early 1990s, earning four consecutive promotions. A championship in the Bezirksliga Schwaben-Süd (VII) in 1992 advanced the side to the Bezirksoberliga Schwaben (VI). After finishing second there, they won promotion to the Landesliga Bayern-Süd (V) through the promotion play-off. Another second-place result and a successful promotion round with the other Landesliga runners-up gained the team entry to the Bayernliga (IV) for the 1994–95 season. The Alemannia Haibach is a German association football club from the town of Haibach, Bavaria. The club's most notable moment came in 1996–97, when it spent a season in the tier four Fußball-Bayernliga. It also once qualified for German Cup play in 1979 but was knocked out in the first round by VfL Frohnlach in an 8–4 loss after extra time. The TSG Augsburg is a German football and sports club from Augsburg, Swabia, formed in 1885. It consists of over 2,500 members in 13 different departments ranging from football to alpine skiing. Overview The club was formed on 12 March 1885 at the ''Gasthaus Paradiesgarten'', a restaurant and pub in the north of Augsburg, as ''TV Lechhausen''. The club originally was focused on gymnastics. The club built a sports hall in the Augsburg suburb of ''Hammerschmiede'' in 1892. In 1918, the club formed a football team together with the players of the ''FC Lechhausen'' (formed 1911) which returned from the First World War. The football department within the club named itself ''FC Union'' and started to take part in the Bavarian leagues. SpVgg SV Weiden, formerly just SpVgg Weiden, is a German association football club from the city of Weiden, Bavaria. Playing in the tier-four Regionalliga Süd in 2010–11, the club had to declare insolvency after being more than Euro 1 million in debt. Unable to raise enough funds to continue competing in the league, Weiden declared on 30 November 2010 that it would withdraw its Regionalliga team and thereby automatically be relegated. All games for the club in the 2010–11 season were declared void. History The side originated with the 1912 establishment of a football department in the gymnastics club ''Turnerbund Weiden''.
