FCI La Tuna
The Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna (FCI La Tuna) is a low-security United States federal prison for male inmates in Anthony, Texas. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. A satellite prison camp, located adjacent to the facility, houses minimum-security inmates. FCI La Tuna is located on the Texas-New Mexico border, 12 miles north of El Paso, Texas. Letters from La Tuna From May to September 2013, the ''El Paso Times'' published a series of letters written by Bob Jones, a longtime El Paso businessman serving a 10-year sentence on corruption and fraud convictions at FCI La Tuna. Anthony is an incorporated town in El Paso County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,011 at the 2010 census. Richard "Pee Wee" Kirkland (born May 6, 1945) is a former American streetball player and drug kingpin. Career Basketball Born in Manhattan, New York, Kirkland played varsity basketball at Charles Evans Hughes High School in Manhattan, New York, and was made an All-City guard. He was awarded a scholarship and attended Kittrell College, a community college in North Carolina, and was on the basketball team averaging 41 points per game.
