Future's End
"Future's End" is a two-part episode from the third season of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'', the eighth and ninth of the season and the 50th and 51st overall. "Future's End" made its debut on American television in November 1996 on the UPN network in two separate broadcasts, on November 6 and 13th, 1996. Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures of the Federation starship '' Voyager'' during its journey home to Earth, having been stranded tens of thousands of light-years away. In this episode, ''Voyager'' is thrown back to Earth in 1996 and must find a way back to the 24th century while making sure they don't cause a disaster in the 29th century in the process. Futures End
Futures End is an American progressive metal band based in California, formed by guitarists Christian Wentz and Marc Pattison. Once their first few demos were completed, Fred Marshall, formerly of progressive metal band Zero Hour, was chosen to be their vocalist for his powerful vocals and great melodic sense. Shortly thereafter, bassist Steve Di Giorgio (Death, Sadus, Iced Earth) and drummer Jon Allen ( Testament, Sadus) came on board to complete Futures End. Their music has been compared to bands such as Symphony X, Testament, and Alice in Chains. The band's debut album, '' Memoirs of a Broken Man'', was released in October 2009 under Nightmare Records to considerable critical acclaim from the heavy metal community. Sick Bay
A sick bay is a compartment in a ship, or a section of another organisation, such as a school or college, used for medical purposes. The sick bay contains the ship's medicine chest, which may be divided into separate cabinets, such as a refrigerator for medicines requiring cold storage and a locked cabinet for controlled substances such as morphine. The sick bay and the medicine chest should be kept locked, with the keys only being available to the medical officer and the ship's master. The term is also applied ashore by the United States Navy and Marine Corps to treatment clinics on naval stations and Marine bases. Robert Duncan McNeill
Robert Duncan McNeill (born November 9, 1964) is an American director, producer, and actor. As an actor, he is best known for his role as Lieutenant Tom Paris on the television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. He has also served as an executive producer and frequent director of the television series ''Chuck'', ''Resident Alien'', ''The Gifted'', and ''Turner & Hooch''. Personal life McNeill and his first wife, Carol, had three children together before their 2015 divorce. In 2005, McNeill directed his then teenaged daughter, Taylor, when she had a small role in the episode " The Pleiades" of the series '' Summerland''. His son Kyle is a singer songwriter. Tom Paris
Lieutenant Thomas Eugene "Tom" Paris is a fictional character in the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'' and is portrayed by Robert Duncan McNeill. Paris is the chief helmsman, as well as a temporary auxiliary medic, of the USS ''Voyager'', a Starfleet ship that was stranded in the Delta Quadrant by an alien entity known as the Caretaker. Initially recruited by Captain Kathryn Janeway as a Starfleet "observer" on ''Voyager'''s first mission into the Badlands, Paris was reinstated as a Starfleet officer by Janeway and took on the role of being ''Voyager'''s helmsman after the original helmsman was killed during the ship's turbulent displacement from the Alpha Quadrant. Tuvok
Tuvok is a fictional character in the ''Star Trek'' media franchise. One of the main characters on the television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'', Tuvok is a member of the fictional Vulcan species who serves as the ship's second officer, Chief of Security, and Chief Tactical Officer. Tim Russ portrayed Tuvok throughout the show's run from 1995 to 2001, and has also been involved in subsequent portrayals. Griffith Observatory is an observatory in Los Angeles, California on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. USS ''Voyager'' (NCC-74656) is the fictional ''Intrepid''-class starship which is the primary setting of the science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''.
