Funky Tekno Tribe
{{unreferenced, date=July 2011 Funky Tekno Tribe (FTT) has been known as a driving force behind the world-famous San Francisco nightlife community since 1991. FTT events such as Organic, Le Theatre Du Futur’, and Halloween Tribal Massive have garnered high acclaim both nationally and internationally as some of the most reputable dance events to attend in North America. FTT resident DJ’s such as DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Jeno, Tony Hewitt, Graeme, DJ Sneak, DJ Rap, Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx have played all over the world and have released UK Billboard chart-topping dance tracks. Enit Festival
The Enit Festival was a one-night electronic music festival created by Perry Farrell in 1995. Originally created as an after party for Lollapalooza, Farrell tried to take the space based festival on the road after minimal success. The name is derived from Ludwig Pallman's book "Cancer Plant Remission". According to early ads for the festival, it was described as "an inter-planetary festival celebrating cosmic peace and sexuality." Enit events The festival, like Lollapalooza, was a traveling tour and visited cities such as Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Camden, Phoenix and Holmdel. Enit was generally held outdoors and consisted of multiple stages as well as several "rooms." Each room would explore different realms, such as a room each for sexuality, psychedelia, and art. Roni Size
Ryan Owen Granville Williams (born 29 October 1969), better known by his stage name Roni Size, is an English DJ and record producer. He came to prominence in 1997 as the founder and frontman of Roni Size & Reprazent, a drum and bass collective. That year they won the Mercury Prize for their debut studio album ''New Forms''. Clifford Joseph Price MBE (born 19 September 1965), better known as Goldie, is a British music producer and DJ. Initially gaining exposure for his work as a graffiti artist, Goldie became well known for his pioneering role as a musician in the 1990s UK jungle, drum and bass and breakbeat hardcore scenes. He released a variety of singles under the pseudonym Rufige Kru and co-founded the label Metalheadz. Perry Farrell (born Peretz Bernstein; March 29, 1959) is an American singer, songwriter and musician, best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction. Farrell created the touring festival Lollapalooza as part (one of the venues) of a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction in 1991; it has since evolved into an annual destination festival. Donald Glaude
Donald Glaude is an American house music artist, DJ and remixer, and is consistently ranked as one of '' DJ Mag''s top 100 DJs. Biography As a child, Glaude was classically trained in the upright bass and violin. After hearing early funk records as a child, he began experimenting with tape decks and a primitive Radio Shack mixer at home in Tacoma, Washington. Glaude began playing at nightclubs by the mid-1980s and began gaining name recognition in early turntablism. He had an early residency at 6th & Proctor in Tacoma, WA. Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK.
