Sabine Funke (born 1955, in Bochum) is a German painter who lives and works since 1987 in Karlsruhe. Biography Funke studied art history in Bochum, Germany free graphics at the University of Essen Folkwang University and painting as well as art theory at Academy of Fine Arts Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main. Rich Funke (born January 30, 1949) is an American journalist and politician who represented the 55th district of the New York State Senate from 2015 until 2020. Funke is a Republican who was elected in November 2014 when he defeated Democratic incumbent Ted O'Brien. Prior to his election, Funke had for almost 40 years been a news anchor and sports director for WHEC-TV, the NBC affiliate station in Rochester, New York. Peter Funke (born 18 March 1950 in Rheine) is a German ancient historian. Life Peter Funke studied history and German studies at the University of Münster from 1969 to 1974. From 1975 to 1978, he held a research assistant position at the ancient history department of the institute for ancient world studies at the University of Cologne. In 1978, he received a doctorate from the University of Cologne, after which he continued to work as a research assistant at Cologne until 1985. Between 1979 and 1981, Funke simultaneously taught the subject of ancient history at the University of Siegen. Michael Funke (born 26 September 1969 in Meerbusch) is a German auto racing driver. Career Funke finished third in the German Touring Car Challenge in 1999 and 2000, and was runner-up in 2001. The championship became the DMSB Produktionswagen Meisterschaft in 2004, and Funke finished third for Hotfiel Sport. Hotfiel moved to the new World Touring Car Championship in 2005, and Funke was test and reserve driver.
