Fun Taiwan
''Fun Taiwan'' is a long-running Taiwanese travel program hosted by Taiwanese-American Janet Hsieh and airing on Discovery's TLC Asia. It began production in 2005, and is currently in its 16th season. Past guests have included host Armando Reed of TLC's '' Armando's Asian Twist'', Singapore-based television personality George Young, American-based television personality JJ Yosh, and Taiwan-based Turkish television personality Rifat Karlova. Janet Hsieh (; born January 20, 1980) is a Taiwanese-American television personality, violinist, author, and model based in Taipei, Taiwan. TLC (Asia)
TLC is a Southeast Asian pay television channel that was launched in June 2001 as Discovery Travel & Adventure. It was the third channel launched by Warner Bros. Discovery in the region. It was initially focused on providing travel-related entertainment. On 1 January 2005, the channel was rebranded as Discovery Travel & Living and received new programming. This was part of a major action within Discovery International to focus on lifestyle programming. The new schedules featured many cooking programmes and makeover shows. On 1 September 2010, the channel was rebranded again into TLC, with international and local lineups. George Young (; born George Ng; 29 February 1980) is a British actor, writer, and television presenter. Early life and education The eldest of four brothers, Young was born on Leap Day 1980 in London, England to a Malaysian Chinese father and Greek Cypriot mother. He was educated at Winchester College and studied acting in New York before receiving his degree in psychology from the University of Southampton, and then a law degree at the University of Westminster and The College of Law.
