Hoshiuta
is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Front Wing which was released on December 26, 2008 playable for Windows as a DVD. ''Hoshiuta'' is Front Wing's twenty-first title and the third title of ''Uta'' series along with their previous titles '' Yukiuta'' and '' Sorauta''. A manga adaptation illustrated by Fumio began serialization in the May 2009 issue of Kadokawa Shoten's ''Comp Ace'' magazine. A spin-off sequel to the visual novel entitled ''Hoshiuta: Starlight Serenade'' was released on December 25, 2009. Setting ''Hoshiuta'' is set in the fictional town in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was one of the first interactive dating games to be translated into English (although there was never an English voice dub for the US release). Originally, it was released exclusively in Japan in a PlayStation 2 format that could only be played on Japanese systems. The game was later ported to the PlayStation 2 by Kadokawa Shoten, on January 26, 2006. AiCherry produced a DVD Player Game version of ''Canvas 2'' on November 28, 2008. An iOS version was released on January 12, 2013. A fan disc called ''Innocent Colors ~Canvas 2 Fan Disc~'' was released for Windows on September 24, 2004. The game is a sequel to Canvas ~Sepia-iro no Motif~. Two other spin off games part of the ''Canvas'' series were released by F&C.
