Fullsteam Records is an independent group of music companies whose activities include a record label, promotion and booking agency, festivals, a distribution company, rehearsal rooms, merchandising, publishing and management. Awarded as the "independent label of the year" in Finland nearly ten times, Fullsteam Records is one of the most important sources of new music from Finland. Fullsteam Records has put out almost 200 releases from tens of Finnish artists and bands. Fullsteam Agency is the main independent concert promoter and booking agency in Finland. International highlights include Prince, The National, The Prodigy, Fleet Foxes, The Flaming Lips, Social Distortion, RUSH, Wilco, Lily Allen and hundreds of others. NEØV
NEØV is a Finnish indie rock band which has released four studio albums and performed in numerous countries. Ganglion (band)
Ganglion was a Canadian electroacoustic rock band formed in 2005 in Calgary. It was the musical alias for the solo recordings of bandleader Ivan Reese. Their music featured diverse instrumentation utilizing classical, modern and extended techniques. Since the beginning of the solo-recording project, Ganglion have recorded hundreds of hours of music and released dozens of albums. Sound Ganglion's performances and recording sessions varied wildly, between a standard repertoire and free-form improvisation. In concert, their renditions of songs changed frequently and were always played differently from the recorded versions. Dust is made of fine particles of solid matter. Deep Insight
Deep Insight is a rock band from Helsinki, Finland. The band was formed in early 2002 by childhood friends Jukka ( vocals) and Johannes ( guitar). They were later joined by Miska (bass) and Ville (drums). Their music is a mixture of American and emo rock, with Scandinavian influences. As of 2008 they had played more than 400 shows in 20 countries. The single ''Hurricane Season'' reached number one on the Finnish Singles Chart in 2005, retaining its position for six weeks. History The band's first release, an EP titled Julia, was a concept album whose lyrics focused on the life and death of Julia, a character created by Jukka and Johannes. It gained many good reviews, most of them praising the young band's promising songwriting and Jukka's exceptional voice. Ismo Kullervo Alanko (; born November 12, 1960) is a Finnish musician. He is known as the frontman of several bands, most famously Hassisen Kone, Sielun Veljet and Ismo Alanko Säätiö, as well as a successful solo artist.
