Full Throttle (1995 Video Game)
''Full Throttle'' is a 1995 graphic adventure video game developed by LucasArts and designed by Tim Schafer. It was Schafer's first game as project lead and head writer and designer, after having worked on other LucasArts titles including '' The Secret of Monkey Island'' (1990), '' Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge'' (1991), and '' Day of the Tentacle'' (1993). Set in the near future, the story follows motorcycle gang leader Ben, who must clear his name after being framed for the murder of a beloved motorcycle manufacturing mogul. A remastered version of the game was developed by Double Fine Productions and was released in April 2017 for Windows, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, with later ports for iOS and Xbox One. Roy Conrad
Roy L. Conrad (November 11, 1940 – January 18, 2002) was an American actor, best known for his role as the voice actor of Ben in the 1995 LucasArts computer game '' Full Throttle''. Career Conrad provided the voice of Ben in the LucasArts computer game '' Full Throttle''. He has also appeared in another LucasArts game, '' Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire'', as the rebel pilot Ace Merrick. Conrad also took smaller film roles in films such as '' Patch Adams'', '' The Wizard'' and a role in the 1993 television series '' Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman''. Pie Menu
In user interface design, a pie menu or radial menu is a circular context menu where selection depends on direction. It is a graphical control element. A pie menu is made of several "pie slices" around an inactive center and works best with stylus input, and well with a mouse. Pie slices are drawn with a hole in the middle for an easy way to exit the menu. Pie menus work well with keyboard acceleration, particularly four and eight item menus, on the cursor keys and the number pad. A goal of pie menus is to provide a smooth, reliable gestural style of interaction for novices and experts. Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire
''Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire'' is a 1995 video game developed by LucasArts. It is the sequel to '' Star Wars: Rebel Assault'', set in the ''Star Wars'' expanded universe. It is played as a rail shooter; the player proceeds down predetermined paths, but has the ability to control aiming, shooting, and dodging. The player character, Rookie One, pilots ships such as a YT-1300 Corellian Transport, a B-wing, and a Y-wing, and encounters new enemy ships, including TIE Interceptors. They uncover, and eventually disable production of, a new TIE variant known as the TIE Phantom, which has the ability to cloak. It contains mostly original filming with actors and stunts, while the scenery and the space scenes were 3D rendered.
