The first season of the sitcom '' Full House'' originally aired on ABC from September 22, 1987 to May 6, 1988. Premise In the first season, after Danny Tanner's wife Pam dies, Jesse (Danny's brother-in-law), and Joey (Danny's best friend since childhood) move in to help him to raise his three daughters, D. J., Stephanie, and Michelle. D. J. starts fifth grade and Stephanie enters kindergarten. John Phillip Stamos ( ; born August 19, 1963) is an American actor and musician. He first gained recognition for his contract role as Blackie Parrish on the ABC television soap opera ''General Hospital'', for which he was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He is known for his work in television, especially in his starring role as Jesse Katsopolis on the ABC sitcom ''Full House''. Peter Baldwin (director)
Peter DuBois Baldwin (January 11, 1931 – November 19, 2017) was an American actor and director of film and television. Baldwin started his career as an actor, employed as a contract player at Paramount Studios. He played Johnson in the film ''Stalag 17'' and Lieutenant Walker in '' Little Boy Lost'', both made in 1953. The ''Fort Worth Star-Telegram'' is an American daily newspaper serving Fort Worth and Tarrant County, the western half of the North Texas area known as the Metroplex.
