Full Circle (Xzibit Album)
''Full Circle'', released in 2006, is the sixth album from West Coast rapper Xzibit, his first release on Koch Records. To assist in the making of ''Full Circle'', Xzibit enlisted Keith Shocklee of the Bomb Squad as co-executive producer. The Game, DJ Quik, Too Short, T-Pain and Tha Dogg Pound make up the many high-profile guests, and the ''Chappelle's Shows Donnell Rawlings makes a comedic appearance. "Concentrate" was released as the lead single. Produced by the Bay Area's Rick Rock, it sampled and looped "Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō," a mantra that is chanted as the central practice of all forms of Nichiren Buddhism. ''Full Circle'' debuted at number 50 on the ''Billboard'' 200 with first-week sales of 17,000 copies in the US. Since then It has now sold 122,000 copies in the US and 244,000 copies worldwide. ''Chappelle's Show'' is an American sketch comedy television series created by comedians Dave Chappelle and Neal Brennan, with Chappelle hosting the show and starring in the majority of its sketches. Chappelle, Brennan, and Michele Armour were the show's executive producers. The series premiered on January 22, 2003, on the American cable television network Comedy Central. The show ran for two complete seasons. An abbreviated third season of three episodes aired in 2006, compiled of previously unreleased sketches. Tha Dogg Pound
Tha Dogg Pound is an American hip hop duo made up of rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. They were signed to Death Row Records in their early careers and were key to the label's success. Kurupt and Daz went on to release solo albums starting in 1998. They eventually left the crumbling Death Row Records in 1999. Daz left due to long-lasting internal struggles on the label after friend and labelmate Tupac Shakur's murder in 1996. Kurupt started Antra Records, while Daz and Soopafly started D.P.G. Recordz. In 2002 a feud arose between the two when Kurupt decided to sign back with Death Row Records, upsetting everyone involved with the group. Too Short
Todd Anthony Shaw (born April 28, 1966), better known by the stage name Too Short (stylized as Too $hort), is an American rapper and record producer. He became famous in the West Coast hip hop scene in the late 1980s, with lyrics often based on pimping and promiscuity, but also drug culture and street survival. This is respectively exemplified in his most popular songs "Blow the Whistle" and " The Ghetto". A pioneer of West Coast rap, Shaw began recording in 1983, cultivating a large following in his native Oakland. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979), better known by his stage name the Game or simply Game, is an American rapper. Born in Compton, California, he initially released a series of mixtapes under the wing of fellow West Coast rapper JT the Bigga Figga. Keith Matthew Boxley (born January 2, 1962), better known as Keith Shocklee or Wizard K-Jee, is an American record producer and DJ. He was an original member of Public Enemy and the Bomb Squad.
