Bärbel Fuhrmann
Bärbel Fuhrmann (after 1962 von Fircks, born 29 March 1940), is a retired German swimmer who won a bronze medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. She won her Olympic medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay with her united German team mates Ingrid Schmidt, Ursula Küper and Ursel Brunner. Fuhrmann finished on the 9th place in the series of the individual 100 m butterfly event, and that was only 0.2 seconds too slow to enter the final. Dr. Ernst Fuhrmann (21 October 1918 – 6 February 1995) was chairman of Porsche AG between 1972 and 1980. He was a German citizen. Fuhrmann attended primary school in Vienna before progressing to a secondary school. Between 1936 and 1941 he attended a technical university. During the war he undertook his military service before returning to civilian life. By 1947 he was working for Porsche, initially at the Gmünd facility in Austria, later moving to Stuttgart. In 1950 he married his wife Elfriede. That same year he received his Doctorate of Mechanical Engineering for a study of valvetrains in high-speed internal combustion engines. In 1952/53 he provided significant input to the development of the Porsche Type 547 engine, which became known as the "Fuhrmann engine". Mark Fuhrman (born February 5, 1952) is a former detective of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). He is primarily known for his part in the investigation of the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in the O. J. Simpson murder case. In 1995, Fuhrman was called to testify regarding his discovery of evidence in the Simpson case, including a bloody glove recovered at Simpson's estate. Manfred Fuhrmann (23 June 1925 – 12 January 2005) was a professor for classical Latin philology and one of the most eminent German philologists. Life Fuhrmann was born on 23 June 1925 in Hiddesen (near Detmold). He started his studies in Leiden. While Fuhrmann wanted to study music, he gave up this plan in favour of classical philology and jurisprudence, whereby the classical philology was decisive for him. 1953 he obtained his doctorate in classical philology in Freiburg, followed by his habilitation ibidem. 1962 Fuhrmann accepted a chair at the University of Kiel, 1966 one at the University of Konstanz. Otto Fuhrmann (1 April 1871 in Basel Р27 January 1945) was a Swiss parasitologist who specialized in the field of helminthology. He studied at the University of Basel as a pupil of Ludwig Ruetimeyer and Friedrich Zschokke.
