Frédéric François-Marsal
Frédéric François-Marsal (; 16 March 1874 – 20 May 1958) was a French Politician of the Third Republic, who served briefly as Prime Minister in 1924. Due to his premiership he also served for two days (11–13 June 1924) as the Acting President of the French Republic between the resignation of Alexandre Millerand and the election of Gaston Doumergue. Prime Minister Of France
The prime minister of France (french: link=no, Premier ministre français), officially the prime minister of the French Republic, is the head of government of the French Republic and the leader of the Council of Ministers. The prime minister is the holder of the second-highest office in France, after the president of France. The president, who appoints but cannot dismiss the prime minister, can ask for their resignation. The Government of France, including the prime minister, can be dismissed by the National Assembly. Upon appointment, the prime minister proposes a list of ministers to the president. Decrees and decisions signed by the prime minister, like almost all executive decisions, are subject to the oversight of the administrative court system. Jean Fabry
Jean Fabry (6 June 1876 – 1 June 1968) was a French politician. He served in the French Army during World War I, and he became an officer of the Legion of Honour for his service. He served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1919 to 1936, representing Seine. He then served as a member of the French Senate from 1936 to 1945, representing Doubs Doubs (, ; ; frp, Dubs) is a department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in Eastern France. Named after the river Doubs, it had a population of 543,974 in 2019. He was also Minister of Colonies from 29 March to 14 June 1924, and the Minister of National Defence and War from 30 January to 4 February 1934, and from 7 June 1935 to 24 January 1936. Louis Marin (7 February 1871 – 23 May 1960) was a French politician who was Minister for the Liberated Regions in 1924, Minister of Pensions (Veteran Affairs) in 1926–1928 and Minister of Health in 1934. Life Early years Louis Marin was born on 7 February 1871 in Faulx, Meurthe. a small village in the part of Lorraine that remained French after the settlement of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. His father was a notary. His mother died during his birth. He attended the Malgrange College, near Nancy, then studied in the Faculty of Law of Nancy before moving to Paris, where he settled in the Latin Quarter. Marin was an avid reader and also had a love of travel. He visited Germany in 1891 and Romania and Serbia the next year, then Algeria. In 1893 he joined the Society of Ethnography that Claude Bernard had founded. He became a permanent member in 1900 and president of the society in 1920.
