''Frontiers in Biology'' was a bimonthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering the field of biology. It was established in 2006 and was published by Higher Education Press and Springer Science+Business Media, supervised by the Ministry of Education of China. The editor-in-chief is Hongjun Song (Johns Hopkins University). The journal ceased publication at the end of 2018. EMBiology
EMBiology is a bibliographic database established in June 2005, and produced by Elsevier. ''EMBiology'' focuses on indexing the literature in the life sciences in general. Coverage includes science in the laboratory (fundamental research) and science in the field (applied research). It is designed to be smaller than EMBASE, with abstracting and indexing for 1,800 journals not covered by the larger database. However, there is some overlap. Hence, ''EMBiology'' is specifically designed for academic institutions that range from small to mid-size and all biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Global in scope, and with back file coverage to 1980, this database contains over four million bibliographic records, with an additional 250,000 records added annually. Chinese Science Citation Database
The Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) is a bibliographic database and citation index managed by Clarivate in partnership with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Created in 1989, it is the first non-English database available within Web of Science. The CSCD contains journals in the topics of natural science, engineering technology, medicine, and additional technology and science areas. The database has almost 17 million citations and indexes 300,000 articles published between 1998 and the current time from thousands of journals. Its network version was created in 2002 and allows users to inquiries through two methods: "source literature and citation search"..
