Frontier Athletic Conference
This is a list of high school athletic conferences in the East and Southeast Regions of Ohio, as defined by the OHSAA. Because the names of localities and their corresponding high schools do not always match and because there is often a possibility of ambiguity with respect to either the name of a locality or the name of a high school, the following table gives both in every case, with the locality name first, in plain type, and the high school name second in boldface type. Beaver Local High School
Beaver Local High School is a public high school near East Liverpool, Ohio, United States. It is the only secondary school in the Beaver Local School District, and serves the communities of Calcutta, Lake Tomahawk, and Rogers in southeastern Columbiana County, as well as parts of surrounding Elkrun, Madison, Middleton, and St. Clair townships. Athletic teams compete as the Beaver Local Beavers in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. History On November 19, 1934, the Columbiana County Board of Education passed a resolution establishing the Beaver Local Rural School District. Manchester High School (Manchester, Ohio)
Manchester High School is a public high school in Manchester Township, Ohio. It is part of the Manchester Local Schools in Adams County, Ohio. Background The current Manchester High School building was completed in August 1997, along with three other public high schools in Adams County, North Adams, Peebles and West Union High School. All four schools used the same layout and appear almost identical from the air. Controversy The four regular public high schools in Adams County were built at the same time and all four featured a large granite tablet outside the school carved with the Ten Commandments. The tablets were relocated after a lengthy four-year legal battle over the placement of the tablets on public property. Athletics The school's mascot is the Appalachian Greyhound. Conotton Valley High School is a public high school near Bowerston, Ohio, United States. The building itself is physically located in Orange Township, Carroll County. It is the only high school in the Conotton Valley Union Local School District. Their nickname is the Rockets. Buckeye Trail High School
Buckeye Trail High School is a public high school in Lore City, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the East Guernsey Local School District. Their mascot is a Warrior, and the school colors are blue and white. They are members of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. They used to be members of the Pioneer Valley Conference, but in a controversial move that sparked community outrage, became members of the Inter Valley Conference (IVC) in 2016. Tuscarawas Valley High School
Tuscarawas Valley High School, also known as simply Tusky Valley, is a public high school in Zoarville, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools district. Athletic teams compete as the Trojans. On November 14, 2023, six people were killed and twenty were injured in a crash on Interstate 70 after a semi-trailer truck rear ended a charter bus carrying members of the Tuscarawas Valley High School band. Ridgewood High School is a public high school in West Lafayette, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Ridgewood Local School District. Garaway Local School District
Garaway Local School District is an Ohio consolidated public school district serving the towns of Sugarcreek, Baltic, Ragersville, Dundee, Fiat and Barrs Mills. Garaway is a member of the Inter-Valley Conference (IVC) along with East Canton, Hiland, Malvern, Newcomerstown, Ridgewood, Sandy Valley, Strasburg and Tuscarawas Central Catholic.
