''Frontier(s)'' (french: Frontière(s)) is a 2007 French-Swiss independent horror film written and directed by Xavier Gens in his feature length debut and stars Karina Testa, Aurélien Wiik, Estelle Lefébure, and Samuel Le Bihan. It follows a group of young criminals from Paris who lodge at a countryside inn run by neo-Nazis in the aftermath of riots spurred by a controversial presidential election. After its premiere in France at the Agde Film Festival in 2007, the film was given a limited release with an NC-17 rating in the United States on May 9, 2008, as part of the After Dark Horrorfest. Plot A far-right candidate reaches the second round of the election for the French presidency, sparking riots in Paris. Hoping to escape Paris but needing cash, a street gang made up of Muslim Arab youths; Alex, Tom, Farid, the pregnant Yasmine, and her brother Sami take advantage of the chaos to pull off a robbery. After Dark Horrorfest (also known as "8 Films to Die For") was an annual horror film festival featuring eight independent horror movies, sometimes with "secret" bonus films, all distributed by After Dark Films in the USA. The first HorrorFest was held in 2006. In 2011, Horrorfest was replaced with After Dark Originals, composed of original films from After Dark and not previously acquired ones. Estelle Lefébure (; born 11 May 1965) is a French actress and model. She was one of the top fashion models in the 1980s and 1990s. Estelle Lefebure, as she was known in the early 1980s, was discovered by George Gallier and managed by him exclusively at Prestige Models in Paris, France. George Gallier then moved to New York City to start American Model Management, and managed her career until 1991.
