From Hell To Borneo
''Hell of Borneo'' also known as Hell to Borneo and From Hell to Borneo is a 1964 English language Philippine film produced by and starring Torin Thatcher, Vic Diaz and George Montgomery (who also directed and co-wrote the screenplay). The film does not take place in Borneo. Plot The Island of El Dorado lies between the Philippines and Borneo and is under the jurisdiction of neither. The ownership of the island was granted to an American soldier of fortune named Dirkson after the First World War by the Royal house of Sulu. The ownership of the diversified plantation island would be perpetually owned and ruled by the Dirkson family in a manner similar to the British Brooke family, who founded and ruled the Raj of Sarawak. Julie Gregg (born Beverly Scalzo; January 24, 1937 – November 7, 2016) was an American television, film and stage actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Sandra Corleone in ''The Godfather'' (1972). Victor Sunico Diaz'', popularly known as Vic Diaz, (July 29, 1932 – September 15, 2006) was a Filipino character actor who mostly portrayed villains. He was also the father of Teddy Diaz, the founding guitarist of the Filipino Rock band The Dawn. George Montgomery (born George Montgomery Letz; August 27, 1916 – December 12, 2000) was an American actor, best known for his work in Western films and television. He was also a painter, director, producer, writer, sculptor, furniture craftsman, and stuntman. He was married to Dinah Shore and a boyfriend of Hedy Lamarr. Early years Montgomery was born George Montgomery Letz in 1916, the youngest of 15 children of German immigrant parents, from Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine.
