Frits Van Dongen
Frits van Dongen (born 12 March 1946, in 's-Hertogenbosch) is an architect from the Netherlands. He designed a canal-side municipal theatre for the city of Leeuwarden with his firm De Architecten Cie. The building he designed that is known as The Whale is in an area known as the Oostelijke Handelskade (Eastern Docklands area) that includes "some of The Netherlands' most cutting-edge housing developments including Piraeus, designed by Hans Kollhoff and Christian Rappit, "Hoop, Liefde en Fortuin" (named after three windmills that used to dominate this area) by Rudy Uytenhaak" and one of Jamie Oliver's "Fifteen" restaurants. André Kempe
Atelier Kempe Thill is an architectural firm that includes Oliver Thill and André Kempe, originally from East Germany who graduated of TU Dresden. They are now based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Thill won the Maaskant Prize for Young Architects 2005, and the firm designed the Dutch pavilion for a garden exhibition in Rostock, Germany in 2003 (The Hedge Building), and won design competitions for the renovation of the youth hostel in Prora (East Germany, 2004) and a "modest" concert hall in Raiding (Austria, 2005). Braden King (born 1971 North Carolina) is a New York-based filmmaker, photographer and visual artist. His feature film, ''Here'' (2011), starring Ben Foster and Lubna Azabal, premiered at the 2011 Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals and was distributed theatrically by Strand Releasing in 2012. s-Hertogenbosch (), colloquially known as Den Bosch (), is a city and municipality in the Netherlands with a population of 157,486. It is the capital of the province of North Brabant and its fourth largest by population.
