Frits Schuitema
Frits Schuitema (October 1, 1944 in Goes) is a Dutch former chairman of Philips and football director. Between 2006 and 2010, Schuitema served as the chairman of the board of directors of PSV Eindhoven. In October 2006 he took over the position from Rob Westerhof. In 1978, Schuitema was taken hostage in San Salvador, along with two British bankers and a Japanese businessman, by a leftist guerrilla group known as the Armed Force of National Resistance (FARN). He was released unharmed by his kidnappers after 36 days in captivity. Schuitema has been involved with PSV Eindhoven since 1990. First as president of the 'Foundation PSV Football', later as member of the board of directors. Goes
Goes () is a city and municipality in the southwestern Netherlands on Zuid-Beveland, in the province of Zeeland. The city of Goes has approximately 27,000 residents. History Goes was founded in the 10th century on the edge of a creek: de Korte Gos (the Short Gos). The village grew fast, and in the early 12th century it had a market square and a church devoted to Mary Magdalene. By 1300 it had a brick castle, now known as Oostende Castle. In 1405 Goes received city rights from William, Duke of Bavaria, by his right as count of Holland, and in 1417 it was allowed to build town walls. The prosperity of the city was based upon the cloth industry and the production of salt. In the 16th century Goes declined. Its connection to the sea silted up and in 1554 a large fire destroyed part of the city. Tien (meaning '' Ten'' in Dutch), previously known as Talpa, was the name of a commercial television channel in the Netherlands. Tien opened on August 13, 2005 as Talpa, following a name dispute with SBS Broadcasting. SBS owned the trademark " TV10" and objected to the use of the word Tien. The owner of Tien, Dutch media mogul John de Mol, decided to rebrand the channel as ''Talpa'', the Latin word for "mole", which is ''mol'' in Dutch. Subsequently Talpa became the name of De Mol's holding company. In the first months Talpa shared its channel space with Nickelodeon. On December 16, 2006, Nickelodeon switched to The Box and Tien started broadcasting full days. In December 2006, Talpa and SBS Broadcasting solved their dispute. Talpa was renamed as Tien.
