"Friss oder stirb" (''Feed or die'') is a song by Die Toten Hosen. It was released as a non-album single in 2004. It is a socially critical song about the current situation in Germany. An English version, titled "Dog Eat Dog", was recorded for the soundtrack of ''Land of Plenty''. "Goodbye Garageland", the b-side to this single, is a tribute to Joe Strummer, who died in 2002. Campino is a big fan of the Clash. The song contains quotes from classic Clash songs. Music video The music video was directed by Daniel Siegler. Die Toten Hosen (literally "The Dead Trousers", figuratively "The Deadbeats") is a German punk rock band from Düsseldorf. History The current members of Die Toten Hosen are Campino (Andreas Frege), Kuddel (Andreas von Holst), Vom (Stephen Ritchie), Andi (Andreas Meurer) and Breiti (Michael Breitkopf). All members except one are German, though Campino's mother, Jenny, was English. The drummer Vom comes from England. He joined in 1999, after previous drummer Wölli sustained injuries in a car crash. Wölli had played from 1985 to 1999 and was an honorary member of the band until his death in 2016. The drummer until 1985 was Trini Trimpop, who became the band's manager when Wölli joined. The Boys (UK Band)
The Boys are an English punk rock band formed in London in 1976. Members of the band had previously played in other groups, including London SS and Hollywood Brats. After recording four studio albums and eight singles, as well as recording Christmas themed music under the name The Yobs, they disbanded in the summer of 1982. The band reformed in 1999, and released a new album in 2014. A pumpjack is the overground drive for a reciprocating piston pump in an oil well. It is used to mechanically lift liquid out of the well if there is not enough bottom hole pressure for the liquid to flow all the way to the surface. The arrangement is often used for onshore wells. The modern combine harvester, or simply combine, is a versatile machine designed to efficiently harvest a variety of grain crops. The name derives from its combining four separate harvesting operations—reaping, threshing, gathering, and winnowing— to a single process. The Clash
The Clash were an English rock band formed in London in 1976 who were key players in the original wave of British punk rock.
