Michael Pedersen Friis
Michael Pedersen Friis (22 October 1857 – 24 April 1944) was a Danish civil servant who served as Prime Minister of Denmark from 5 April 1920 to 5 May 1920. Biography M.P. Friis became cand.jur. from the University of Copenhagen in 1883. From 1904 to 1911 was head of department in the Ministry of Justice. He was from 1911 to 1923 he was the public trustee of Denmark. On 29 March King Christian X had dismissed Prime Minister Carl Theodor Zahle and replaced him with Otto Liebe, but this use of power by the king triggered the Easter Crisis of 1920 (''Påskekrisen 1920'') and Otto Liebe resigned 5 days later. Michael Pedersen Friis was then appointed head of a caretaker cabinet (''forretningsministerium'') to lead Denmark until elections could be held and a new government appointed. Cabinet Of Denmark
The Cabinet of Denmark ( da, regering) has been the chief executive body and the government of the Kingdom of Denmark since 1848. The Cabinet is led by the Prime Minister. There are around 25 members of the Cabinet, known as "ministers", all of whom are also heads of specific government ministries. The Cabinet has usually been composed of Ministers from two or more parties forming a coalition government. Still, most of these governments have been minority governments, relying on the support of still other parties. Cabinets are formally appointed by the Monarch. In practice, once a government has stepped down, there is a fixed set of rules for appointing an investigator (most often the future Prime Minister), with the job of trying to form a new government. The Prime Minister will lead the Cabinet by convention. Jens Jensen (trade Unionist)
Jens Jensen (1859–1928) was a Danish trade unionist and Social Democratic politician. Jensen was a painter by profession. In 1879 he moved to Copenhagen. In 1883 he became the president of the Painters' Trade Union, and in 1898 he was one of the main founders of the United Trade Unions. Jensen was elected president of the union federation. During his tenure Jensen took the initiative to the first international trade union coordination, the International Secretariat of National Trade Union Centres. From 1893 to 1903 Jensen served on the Copenhagen City Council. Christian Sonne
Ole Christian Saxtorph Sonne (21 April 1859 – 25 July 1941) was a Danish government minister and speaker of the Landsting, a chamber of the parliament. He was an elected member of the Landsting from the 1902 election until 1918. He was originally elected outside the parties in electoral coalition with the conservative party Højre, but joined the Free Conservatives in February 1904. Along with the rest of the Free Conservatives, Sonne joined the Conservative People's Party in 1915, but he left the party again in June 1917 as a protest against the party's intention of pulling Minister without Portfolio Christian Rotbøll out of the Cabinet of Zahle II. Frederik Carl Gram Schrøder
Frederik Carl Gram Schrøder (19 July 1866 – 13 August 1936), usually referred to as F.C.G. Schrøder and also known as Fritz Schrøder was a Danish civil servant, Governor of Danmarks Nationalbank from 1925 and until his death. In 1920 he served briefly as Minister of Justice in the Cabinet of M.P.
