Frideborg Winblad
Frideborg Winblad (January 18, 1869 – November 30, 1964) was an elementary school teacher in Härnösand, Sweden, who went on to become Sweden's first female educational administrator. Early life Frideborg was the daughter of Anton Julius Winblad I (1828–1901), the church organist and the first schoolteacher of Ytterlännäs, Sweden; and Elsa Maria Elisabeth Näslund (1829-1907). Elsa's father was the vicar of Ytterlännäs. Frideborg was born in Anundsjö, Västernorrland, Sweden. Her siblings include: Johan Edward Winblad (1856-1914) who was a ship's mate that emigrated to Norway and married Salmine Sophia Severine Pedersen (1862-1914) then emigrated to the United States; Karl Israel Winblad (1857-?); Johanna Winblad (1859-1916) who married Per Olof Bernhard Wahlberg (1852-1927) a school teacher and church organist; Anton Teodor Winblad (1862-?); and Maria Elisabeth Winblad (1865-1937) who married Jonas Kempe (1861-1918). David Emanuel Wahlberg
David Emanuel Wahlberg (September 9, 1882 – March 7, 1949) was a Swedish sports writer and editor who covered the 1912 Summer Olympics. He became president of the sports organization LAIF from 1937 to 1939. Later in life he was the Lutheran minister in Långsele, Sweden. Biography He was born on September 9, 1882, in Ytterlännäs, Sweden to Johanna Winblad (1859–1916) and Per Olof Bernhard Wahlberg (1852–1927). He attended college in Sweden and graduated in 1901 then studied at the University of Chicago and received his Master of Arts in Romance 1904. He then attended Augustana College in 1905. He returned to Sweden and worked as a language teacher and journalist until 1916. He was ordained and then worked as a minister in Sundsvall. In 1923 or 1924 he became the pastor in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ytterlännäs Parish
Ytterlännäs is a parish in the Diocese of Härnösand in Västernorrland County, Sweden. Ytterlännäs parish contains Sweden's oldest continuous choir. History Ytterlännäs parish, in the province of Ångermanland, belonged to the Archdiocese of Uppsala in the Middle Ages, but has been part of the Diocese of Härnösand since the diocese's formation in 1647. The two churches of the parish, the old one from the early 13th century, and the new one, built from 1848 to 1854, are located between the communities of Nyland and Bollstabruk, within Kramfors Municipality. The Ytterlännäs Old Church dates from the 13th century and features medieval vaults, wall-paintings and wooden sculptures. It has baroque furnishings that include two galleries. Teacher's Highland Cream is a brand of blended Scotch whisky produced in Glasgow, Scotland, by Beam Suntory, the US-headquartered subsidiary of Suntory Holdings of Osaka, Japan. The Teacher's Highland Cream brand was registered in 1884. (The label on the bottles says "est. 1830", reflecting an earlier date when the founding family entered the whisky business, before the brand name was created.) Teacher's states that it uses "fully smoked peated single malt whisky from The Ardmore distillery as its fingerprint whisky" along with about 30 other single malt whiskies.
