Freya Aelbrecht (born 10 February 1990) is a Belgian female volleyball player, playing as a middle-blocker. She is part of the Belgium women's national volleyball team. She competed at the 2015 European Games and 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship. Zutendaal (; li, Zietendaol; in English sometimes also referred to as "Sweet Valley") is a Municipalities of Belgium, municipality located in the Belgium, Belgian province of Limburg (Belgium), Limburg. Women's European Volleyball Championship
The Women's European Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1975 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Italy, which won its third title at the 2021 tournament. History The first tournament was held in 1949 with participation of seven national teams. It was dominated by teams from Eastern Europe, who at that times were strongest teams not only at the European continent but also in the whole world. Volleyball Players At The 2015 European Games
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 or Baku 2015 European Games ( az, Bakı 2015 Avropa Oyunları), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees.
