Frenzied Bus
Frenzied Bus (russian: Взбесившийся автобус, Vzbesivshiysya avtobus) is a 1990 Soviet crime film. The story is based on real events that occurred on 1 December 1988, when there was a 1988 Ordzhonikidze bus hijacking, hijacking of a bus with children in Ordzhonikidze. Plot The events occurred in Vladikavkaz, Ordzhonikidze in 1988 and this is when the movie took place. In the film, criminals hijack a passenger bus from the city bus station. The criminals see a group of school children waiting for a bus after a field trip, and they invite them onto the bus and then take the children and their teacher hostage. Meanwhile, police radio communications report the hijacking of the bus (without knowledge of the hostage-takers). The bus is spotted by local KGB officers, who heard the news on the radio of his official car ATC communications. Georgy Grigorievich Nathanson (russian: Гео́ргий Григо́рьевич Натансо́н; 23 May 1921 – 17 December 2017) was a Soviet and Russian theater and cinema director, screenwriter and playwright. Worked as director at Mosfilm. People's Artist of Russia (1994), winner of the USSR State Prize (1977). Biography Georgy Natanson was born on May 23, 1921 in Kazan. His mother was a singer, his father, Grigory Nathanson, was an economist and was killed in the army in 1941 at Yelnya. Since 1941 to 1943 he worked as an assistant director of the Central United Film Studio (CUFS) in Alma-Ata, which was also evacuated in a film studio Mosfilm the Great Patriotic War. Pyotr Ivanovich Shcherbakov (russian: Пётр Ива́нович Щербако́в; 21 July 1929 – March 16, 1992) was a Soviet film and theater actor. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1980). Member of the CPSU since 1955. Biography Born July 21, 1929, in the village of Pozdnyakovo (now Kaluga Oblast). After World War II, the family moved to Moscow. In Theatre Institute Pyotr Shcherbakov was quite by accident. Since that year in GITIS was set only at the Directing Department, Pyotr took directly to the second year of the institute, which he graduated in 1955.
