Ruggell is a municipality of Liechtenstein. It is the northernmost and lowest elevated municipality. As of 2019, it has a population of 2,322. FC Ruggell is a Liechtensteiner amateur football (soccer) team that plays in Ruggell. They currently play in the Swiss Football League, in 2. Liga, which is the sixth tier of Swiss football. Like all Liechtensteiner clubs, they play in the Swiss football pyramid. They've made the final of the Liechtenstein Football Cup on 7 occasions, most recently in 2019, where they lost 3–2 against FC Vaduz.
