Freising (electoral District)
Freising is an electoral constituency (German: ''Wahlkreis'') represented in the Bundestag. It elects one member via first-past-the-post voting. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 213. It is located in southern Bavaria, comprising the districts of Freising, Pfaffenhofen, the southern part of the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district. Freising was created for the 1976 federal election. Since 2013, it has been represented by Erich Irlstorfer of the Christian Social Union (CSU). Geography Freising is located in southern Bavaria. As of the 2021 federal election, it comprises the districts of Freising and Pfaffenhofen as well as the municipalities of Aresing, Berg im Gau, Brunnen, Gachenbach, Langenmosen, Schrobenhausen, and Waidhofen from the district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen. Garching bei München (''Garching near Munich'') or Garching is a town in Bavaria, Germany, near Munich. It is the home of several research institutes and university departments on its Campus Garching, campus. It became a city on 14 September 1990. Aschheim
Aschheim is a small town and municipality in the district of Munich in Bavaria in Germany. It lies beyond the northeastern outskirts of Munich. Aschheim is the location of BMW's test track opened by the manufacturer in 1972, and also has a golf club, established in 1990. History The name "Aschheim" was first mentioned in 756/757 as "ascheim". In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria between 1808 and 1818, Aschheim and Dornach became independent political communities.
