Fraiburgo (nicknamed Frai) is a Brazilian municipality located in the countryside of the Santa Catarina state. The city is strongly influenced by European immigrants, especially Germans and Italians. Fryeburg is a town in Oxford County, Maine, United States. The population was 3,369 at the 2020 census. Fryeburg is home to Fryeburg Academy, a semi-private preparatory school, and the International Musical Arts Institute. The town is also site of the Fryeburg Fair, which each October attracts approximately 300,000 visitors. History The area was once a major Abenaki Indigenous peoples of the Americas village known as Pequawket, meaning "crooked place," a reference to the large bend in the Saco River. Freiburger FC () is a German association football club based in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg. Freiburger FC were one of the founding clubs of the DFB (German Football Association) in 1900. History Founded in 1897, for many decades FFC were the dominant club in the city. Their early successes included a South German title in their second season and a national championship in 1907. The club were also semi-finalists of the Torneo Internazionale Stampa Sportiva, one of the first international football competitions in the world, in 1908. Those wins proved to be the height of their success, and they have not won any significant honours since. Åšwiebodzice (; szl, Frybork; german: Freiburg) is a town in south-western Poland with 22,793 inhabitants (). It is situated in Åšwidnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship (from 1975–1998 it was in the former WaÅ‚brzych Voivodeship). The town is situated close to Książ Castle, which during World War II, together with the cave complex, was expanded to create private quarters for Adolf Hitler.
