Freeze Frame (band)
Freeze Frame were an English new wave band from Liverpool, England, which consisted of vocalist Steve Byrne, instrumentalist/producer Ronnie Stone and later, keyboardist Clive Gee. They released six singles between 1981 and 1985. History Steve Byrne and Ronnie Stone first met around 1980/81, while Byrne was singer in a punk/new wave band called The Posers. Stone was a member of 1970s duo Next, with Philip Franz Jones who would later become a member of Afraid of Mice. The band's name Freeze Frame was named after the album by Godley & Creme. John Peel
John Robert Parker Ravenscroft (30 August 1939 – 25 October 2004), known professionally as John Peel, was an English disc jockey (DJ) and radio presenter. He was the longest-serving of the original BBC Radio 1 DJs, broadcasting regularly from 1967 until his death in 2004. Peel was one of the first broadcasters to play psychedelic rock and progressive rock records on British radio. New Wave Music

Godley & Creme were an English rock duo formally established in Manchester in 1977 by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. The pair began releasing music as a duo after their departure from the rock band 10cc. In 1979, they directed their first music video with the single "An Englishman in New York". After this, they became involved in the production of videos for artists such as Ultravox, the Police, Yes, Duran Duran, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Wang Chung, as well as directing the groundbreaking video for their 1985 single "Cry". ''Freeze Frame'' is the third album by Godley & Creme. The album was recorded at Nigel Gray's Surrey Sound Studios, Leatherhead, Surrey. The cover art, designed by Hipgnosis, identifies the duo as 'Godley Creme'. Content This album made use of a couple of technical innovations which gave it a unique sound. "I Pity Inanimate Objects" contained a distinctive vocal treatment in which the notes are seemingly obtained by altering the pitch of pre-recorded voices.
