Freestyle Session
''Freestyle Session'' is a b-boy competition held every year which crowns the best crew in the world. It is sanctioned by the Urban Dance & Educational Foundation and part of the Pro Breaking Tour and Undisputed's World BBoy Series. Originally held only in the United States, Freestyle Session is now being recognized worldwide. Most years have featured a 3 on 3 battle, but formats have varied over the years, from a 2 on 2 to a 10 on 10 full crew battle. Freestyle Session is most well known as a b-boy event, but has also featured b-girl, youth breaking, popping, and open styles competitions, among others In 2013, Freestyle Session set off to raise the bar of International Competition with a series of events from local preliminaries to Regional Qualifiers and ultimately the Freestyle Session World Finals to find out who is the best crew in the World. B-boy
Breakdancing, also called breaking or b-boying/b-girling, is an athletic style of street dance originating from the African American and Puerto Rican communities in the United States. While diverse in the amount of variation available in the dance, breakdancing mainly consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes. Breakdancing is typically set to songs containing drum breaks, especially in hip-hop, funk, soul music and breakbeat music, although modern trends allow for much wider varieties of music along certain ranges of tempo and beat patterns. International B-Boy Championships
B-boying or Breaking, also called Breakdancing, is a style of street dance that originated among African-American and Puerto Rican youths in New York City during the early 1970s. World BBoy Series
The Undisputed World B-Boy Series is a b-boy or breaking championship series established in 2013 that connects the renowned solo international b-boy competitions worldwide. The Undisputed Masters. After the series has been concluded, mostly at the end the year, the champions of each competition meet in a masters event called "Undisputed Masters" and compete to establish who is the "Undisputed" champion. The Undisputed Ranking is a ranking accumulating the top 16 results of each championship in the World B-Boy Series. The overall ranking leader if not a champion, is also invited to the Undisputed Masters. The ranking is also used to reward wildcards for competitors to compete in the Undisputed Masters. Popping is a street dance adapted out of the earlier Boogaloo (funk dance) cultural movement in Oakland, California. Massive Monkees
Massive Monkees is a 28 member b-boy crew from Seattle, Washington that won the 2004 World B-Boy Championships in London and appeared on season four of MTV's ''America's Best Dance Crew''. In 2012 they won the international b-boy competition R-16 Korea and thus became the first American crew to win in the history of the competition. History Founded in the mid-'90s, the Massive Monkees have 25 active members including former Binary Star rapper One Be Lo, who performs as the MC at their shows.
