Brian Freeston
Sir Leslie Brian Freeston (11 August 1892 – 16 July 1958) was a British colonial official. Career Freeston was educated at Willaston School and New College, Oxford. After service in the London Regiment of the British Army in the First World War he joined the then Colonial Office in 1919. Jesse Freeston (born February 18, 1985) is a Canadian video journalist and filmmaker. He attended Hillcrest High School, where he excelled in volleyball and chemistry. While attending Hillcrest he met his soon-to-be mentor, Mr. Taguchi. Jesse and Mr. Taguchi would spend their evenings walking around the Alta Vista area talking about space and neat science experiments. After watching ''Bowling For Columbine'' Jesse thought it would be fun to make Youtube videos. Nicholas Freeston
Nicholas Freeston (28 August 1907 – 6 February 1978) was an English poet who spent most of his working life as a weaver in cotton mills near his home in Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire. He published five books of poetry, occasionally writing in Lancashire dialect, and won fifteen awards including a gold medal presented by the president of the United Poets' Laureate International. Outwood Academy Freeston (known locally as Freeston), formerly The Freeston Academy, is a state run, coeducational high school situated in Normanton, West Yorkshire near the city of Wakefield. It is a Business and Enterprise specialist school. The school is operated by Outwood Grange Academies Trust, and the current principal is Lisa Allott. History The school's history dates back to the late 1500s, when Normanton Grammar School was founded and endowed by John Freeston of Altofts, a local barrister. The school was later moved to its current location in the 1950s, where only a chimney remains in the original location. Along with a number of other secondary schools, Freeston changed itself to an academy status in 2011. Its school motto was "Making the Difference in the Business of Learning".
