Freefall Style
Freefall style is a category of sport skydiving competition. Competitors aim to perform a predefined series of aerial maneuvers including front and back flips (loops), turns, and rolls in the least amount of time. Competitors are timed for the length they take to perform the series of maneuvers. Penalty time is added to a competitor's score for incomplete or incorrect maneuvers, and the competitor with the lowest time wins. Freefall style is one of the oldest forms of sport skydiving competition. Freefall style competition skydives are often coupled with Accuracy landing competition, and are commonly known as "Style and Accuracy" jumps. Skydiving
Parachuting, including also skydiving, is a method of transiting from a high point in the atmosphere to the surface of Earth with the aid of gravity, involving the control of speed during the descent using a parachute or parachutes. Accuracy Landing
Accuracy landing is one of the oldest skydiving disciplines, in which skydivers attempt to land as closely as possible to a pre-determined target. Competitive accuracy landing Competitive accuracy landing is a team event with 5 persons on each team that takes place over 8 rounds. The team jumps together, generally from an altitude of , although sometimes as high as . The score is measured in meters from "dead center". The best score for each round is 0,00 meters (meaning hitting dead center) and the worst score for a round is 0.16 meter (16 centimeters or 6 inches). Freefall
In Newtonian physics, free fall is any motion of a body where gravity is the only force acting upon it. In the context of general relativity, where gravitation is reduced to a space-time curvature, a body in free fall has no force acting on it. An object in the technical sense of the term "free fall" may not necessarily be falling down in the usual sense of the term.
