Freedom High School, also known as Freedom-South Riding, is a public high school in South Riding, an unincorporated community in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States, west of Washington, D.C. The school is part of Loudoun County Public Schools. Administration The principal of Freedom High School is Neelum Chaudhry. Chaudhry served as an assistant principal at the school before becoming principal. History Freedom opened in 2005, drawing its students from Broad Run High School, Loudoun County High School, and a small portion of Stone Bridge High School. Overcrowding Before the 2011–2012 school year the decision was made to hold part of the freshman classes at the then nearby middle school feeder, Mercer Middle School. Loudoun County High School is a public secondary school in Leesburg, Virginia. It is part of Loudoun County Public Schools. It currently serves students without individualized needs Leesburg. History The school opened in 1954, which makes it the oldest operating high school in Loudoun County. Mascot The previous mascot for the school, the Raider, was named after the Mosby's Raiders.
