Free Somebody (EP)
''Free Somebody'' is the debut extended play by South Korean singer Luna, released on May 31, 2016 by SM Entertainment, and distributed by KT Music. It contains six tracks, including the single and title song "Free Somebody". It debuted at number five on the Gaon Album Chart, and has sold over 10,000 copies. The EP marks Luna's debut as a solo artist, and incorporates a range of genres, including electropop and R&B. Park Sun-young (born August 12, 1993), known professionally as Luna, is a South Korean singer, musical actress and television presenter. She debuted as a member of girl group f(x) in September 2009. Future House
Future house is a house music genre that emerged in the 2010s in the United Kingdom, described as a fusion of deep house, UK garage and incorporating other elements and techniques of other EDM genres. It is high in energy, generally consisting of big drops, 4/4 beats and is sonically bass heavy. Etymology The term "future house" was coined by French DJ Tchami and was first used to categorise his 2013 remix of Janet Jackson's "Go Deep" on SoundCloud. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. Miss Korea ( ko, 미스코리아) is a national beauty pageant in South Korea. Lee Seung-hyeon won the title on October 26, 2022. History The first Miss Korea competition took place in 1957 and was sponsored by the Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo. Each year, approximately fifty women compete in Seoul, South Korea, and seven are selected by a panel of judges. The winner "Jin" (진) is crowned as the official Miss Korea. KCON (music Festival)
KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ E&M. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. In 2015, KCON expanded to Japan and then quickly announced the first KCON USA on the East Coast. In 2016, KCON expanded into Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Paris, France. In January 2017, KCON announced that they would be hosting their first KCON Mexico at the Mexico City Arena on March 17 and 18, 2017.
