Free Foundation
The Free Foundation (''Free Foundation'', FREE) is a think tank within Forza Italia (2013), Forza Italia, a List of political parties in Italy, political party in Italy. Although most of its leading members are former members of the Italian Socialist Party and thus have social democracy, social-democratic roots, the group expresses liberalism, liberal and libertarianism, libertarian stances. The core proposals of the association are free market, small government, subsidiarity, federalism, political and fiscal federalism. The Foundation was launched in 2000 by Renato Brunetta, minister of Public Administration in Berlusconi IV Cabinet, and Franco Frattini, minister of Foreign Affairs. Other leading members are Giuliano Cazzola, Giorgio Stracquadanio, Arturo Diaconale and Davide Giacalone. Renato Brunetta
Renato Brunetta (born 15 May 1950) is an Italian economist and politician. He was the Minister of Public Administration and Innovation from 8 May 2008 to 16 November 2011 in the Berlusconi government, and he is, once again, the minister for Public Administration in the Draghi government, since 13 February 2021. He was the head of Forza Italia's deputies group at the Chamber of Deputies from 2013 to 2018. Early life and career Renato Brunetta was born on 15 May 1950, in Venice, Italy, the youngest of three brothers. He grew up in a poor family and his father was a peddler. Vittorio Feltri ( Bergamo, born 25 June 1943) is an Italian journalist and editor in chief of daily ''Libero''. Biography Feltri was born in Bergamo, Italy. He graduated with a degree in Political Science and then started his career as journalist in 1962, writing film reviews for the local newspaper ''L'Eco di Bergamo''. Maurizio Belpietro (born 10 May 1958) is an Italian journalist and television presenter. Biography Belpietro was born in Castenedolo, near Brescia, but he grew up in the town of Palazzolo sull'Oglio. He started his career as a journalist writing for the local newspaper ''Bresciaoggi'' in 1975. In 1994 he moved on to ''il Giornale'' with the journalist Vittorio Feltri and returned few years later after a period as editor of the newspaper ''Il Tempo'' in 1996.
