	Fredrik Eriksson (ice Hockey, Born 1983) Fredrik Eriksson (born July 18, 1983) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman, who is currently playing for Borås HC in the HockeyEttan (Div.1). Playing career Initially a left winger, Eriksson was signed by Färjestads BK as a junior and played with the club's junior teams until 2001, also playing a few games with Färjestads' senior team. He was subsequently loaned to the Allsvenskan club, Bofors IK. He stayed with Bofors for three seasons and then returned to Färjestad in the summer of 2003. On April 18, 2006, Färjestad won the Swedish Championship. In April 2006, he left Färjestad and signed with the Malmö Redhawks. It was with Malmö that Eriksson changed to a defence position. On April 27, 2010, he left Sweden to sign for German club Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers of the DEL. He has played for Bofors IK in the Allsvenskan, the second highest league in Sweden. He joined Bofors in May 2007, when he left Västerås IK Västerås IK (''Västerås Ishockey klubb'') is an ice hockey club from Västerås, Sweden. The team is currently playing in the second-tier league in Sweden, Hockeyallsvenskan. 	Fredrik Ericsson Jan Fredrik Ericsson (14 March 1975 in Sundsvall, Sweden – 6 August 2010 at K2, Pakistan) was a Swedish mountaineer and extreme skier. He grew up in Umeå in the northern part of Sweden, but spent most of his time in Chamonix, in the French Alps. History During the summer of 2003, Ericsson climbed and skied the 7495 meters high Ismoil Somoni Peak (Peak Communism) in Tajikistan. In 2004 he became the first Swede to ski descend an 8000-meters peak when he skied from the central summit of Shisha Pangma (8027 m) in Tibet. In 2005 Ericsson and his Norwegian friend Jörgen Aamot made an attempt to ski the coveted Laila Peak (6069 m) in Pakistan, but bad conditions forced them to turn around at 5950 m. They were the first people who ever skied down the mountain. That same year they also skied from the summit of Gasherbrum II (8035 m), Ericsson's second 8000-meters peak.
