Fredericton Shooting
The Fredericton shooting was a mass shooting that occurred in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, on the morning of 10 August 2018, in which four people, including two police officers, were killed. The shooter, Matthew Raymond, was found not criminally responsible in 2020. Shooting On 10 August 2018, around 7:00 a.m. ADT, multiple witnesses reported dozens of shots being fired on Brookside Drive between Main Street and Ring Road in a residential neighbourhood on the north side of the city of Fredericton. At 7:10 a.m., Fredericton Police officers Lawrence Robert Costello and Sara Burns responded to calls of shots being fired outside of an apartment building. David Wynn
David Matthew Wynn (October 18, 1972 – January 21, 2015) was a Canadian police officer in the St. Albert RCMP in Alberta. David Wynn was shot and killed by Shawn Rehn in St. Albert's Apex Casino during a routine license plate check. He is the namesake of a defeated law, Wynn's Law, that would have made it more difficult for suspects to make bail if they had a criminal history. David Wynn was posthumously awarded a bravery award by the RCMP commissioner. Background Wynn was born in Newcastle, New Brunswick in 1972. The 2018 Toronto shooting, known locally as the Danforth shooting, was a mass shooting that occurred on Danforth Avenue in the Greektown neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the night of July 22, 2018. Faisal Hussain killed two people and wounded thirteen using a Smith & Wesson M&P .40-calibre handgun. He died by suicide after a shootout with Toronto Police Service (TPS) officers. The ''Journal Pioneer'' is a weekly newspaper published in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Two men named Bernard and Bertram founded the ''Summerside Journal'', a weekly newspaper, in 1865. Under the leadership of A.R. Brennan, the ''Journal'' began publishing daily on September 21, 1939, in order to provide regular news of World War II. Moncton Shooting
The Moncton shootings were a string of shootings that took place on June 4, 2014, in Moncton, in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. Justin Bourque, a 24-year-old Moncton resident, shot five officers from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), killing three and severely injuring two. A manhunt for Bourque was launched and continued overnight and into June 5. On June 6, Bourque was found and taken into custody, ending a manhunt that lasted over 28 hours.
