Freddy Dos Santos
Freddy dos Santos (born 2 October 1976 in Oslo) is a Norwegian former footballer who played most of his career for Vålerenga in the Norwegian Premier League. Dos Santos has played as a defender, midfield and forward. His former clubs are Skeid and Molde. Club career Skeid He started his career at Skeid. During the last two seasons with them he played in the Norwegian top division. Molde In 1998 season, he moved to Molde after Skeid got relegated from the top flight. In his first two seasons he helped them in achieving a back-to-back silver medal in the league, also playing in the group stages of the 1999–2000 Champions League. Kristofer Krüger Hæstad (born 9 December 1983) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Early life Hæstad was born in Kristiansand, Agder. Club career Early career Hæstad played for the youth teams of Randesund and Vigør. Start He was signed by Start in 2001, and debuted in the Norwegian Premier League in 2002, when the youthful Start squad only made 11 points and were relegated. Norwegian Football Cup 2008
The 2008 Norwegian Football Cup was the 103rd season of Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The competition started on 10 May 2008 with the first-round games and ended on 9 November 2008 with the final. The defending champions were Lillestrøm. The format of the Cup has not changed for this season what means that, unlike other European cup competitions, all teams (including Tippeligaen ones) entered the Cup in the First Round. In the First and Second Round amateur teams (or at least lower-placed at the time of the draw) were seeded and played the matches at home ground. The 2002 Norwegian Football Cup was the 97th edition of the Norwegian Football Cup. Vålerenga won their 3rd Norwegian Championship title after defeating Odd Grenland in the final with the score 1–0. The final was played on Sunday 3 November at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. Odd Grenland got to the final by beating Åssiden, Lyngdal, Bærum, Start, Strømsgodset and Stabæk. The 2005 Tippeligaen was the 61st completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on 10 April 2005, and was concluded with the last of 26 rounds played on 29 October. 3 points were given for wins and 1 for draws. Vålerenga, the winner of this year's season entered the second round of next year's Champions League qualification, while the runners-up (Start), number 3 ( Lyn) and the Norwegian Cup winners enter the UEFA Cup qualification round. 2009 Superfinalen
The 2009 Superfinalen was the first edition of Superfinalen, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Tippeligaen and Norwegian Cup competitions. It was played on 8 March 2009, at Telenor Arena in Bærum, between Stabæk and Vålerenga, winners of the 2008 Tippeligaen and 2008 Norwegian Football Cup respectively. A collaboration between the Football Association of Norway, Norsk Toppfotball, the incumbent league and cup champions, and the broadcaster TV 2, the match was seen as a test of the viability of a Super Cup in Norway. Modeled on the FA Community Shield, the Superfinalen is intended to be a season opener, with the net proceeds of each match going to charity. In 2009, these proceeds were donated to UNICEF.
