Freddie (cricketer)
Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff (born 6 December 1977) is an English television and radio presenter and former international cricketer. Flintoff played all forms of the game and was one of the sport's leading all-rounders, a fast bowler, middle-order batsman, and slip fielder. He was consistently rated by the ICC as being among the top international all-rounders in both ODI and Test cricket. Following his debut in 1998, he became an integral player for England, and was England's "Man of the Series" in the 2005 Ashes. He later served as both captain and vice-captain of the team. He retired from Test cricket at the end of the 2009 Ashes series, and from other forms of the game in 2010. He then had one professional boxing fight on 30 November 2012 in Manchester, beating American Richard Dawson on a points decision. Freddy (1969–1971) and Freddy II (1973–1976) were experimental robots built in the Department of Machine Intelligence and Perception (later Department of Artificial Intelligence, now part of the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh). Technology Technical innovations involving Freddy were at the forefront of the 70s robotics field. Freddy was one of the earliest robots to integrate vision, manipulation and intelligent systems as well as having versatility in the system and ease in retraining and reprogramming for new tasks. Freddy (17 May 2012 – 27 January 2021) was a Great Dane from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, United Kingdom, known for being crowned as the world's tallest living dog by the Guinness Book of World Records, having taken the title from the previous record holder, Zeus, who was the tallest dog ever. Biography Freddy was born in May 2012 and lived with his owner, Claire Stoneman, at her home in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, alongside his sister, Fleur. As a puppy, Freddy was, ironically, the runt of the litter, and Stoneman had to take him home sooner than planned, as he was not feeding from his mother. Gábor Alfréd Fehérvári (born 8 April 1990), known by his stage name Freddie, is a Hungarian singer. He first came to prominence after placing fourth in the first season of the Hungarian version of '' Rising Star''. He later became the Hungarian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
