Freddy Peralta Diaz (born June 4, 1996) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Early life Freddy Peralta was born in Moca, Dominican Republic, on June 4, 1996, to Pedro Peralta and Octavia Diaz. Career Seattle Mariners Peralta signed with the Seattle Mariners as an international free agent in April 2013. He made his professional debut that year with the Dominican Summer League Mariners and spent the whole season there, going 3-3 with a 1.46 ERA in 13 games (ten starts). In 2014, he pitched for the Arizona League Mariners where he pitched to a 1-6 record and 5.29 ERA in 12 starts, and in 2015, he returned there, going 2-3 with a 4.11 ERA in 11 games (nine starts). In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Biloxi Shuckers
The Biloxi Shuckers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Southern League and the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Biloxi, Mississippi, and are named in reference to the city's oyster industry and seafood heritage. The Shuckers play their home games at MGM Park. The team began play in 2015 after the Southern League's Huntsville Stars relocated to Biloxi following the 2014 season. With Major League Baseball's restructuring of Minor League Baseball in 2021, the Shuckers were placed in the Double-A South, which became the Southern League in 2022. Biloxi has played in three Southern League championship series but has not won a league title. Coors Field is a baseball stadium in downtown Denver, Colorado. It is the home field of Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies. Opened in 1995, the park is located in Denver's Lower Downtown neighborhood, two blocks from Union Station. The stadium has a capacity of 50,144 people for baseball. As an expansion team that began play in 1993, the Rockies spent their first two seasons at Mile High Stadium. During that time, Coors Field was constructed for a cost of $300 million.
