Fred Thomas (born June 27, 1958) is an American politician. He served in the Montana Senate and was Majority Leader from 2017 to 2021. Biography Thomas was born on June 27, 1958, in Hamilton, Montana. His grandfather, Fred A. Thomas, was a member of the Montana House of Representatives The Montana House of Representatives is, with the Montana Senate, one of the two houses of the Montana Legislature.
