Fred R. Hobbs
Fred Ralston Hobbs (May 10, 1947 – June 24, 2010) was an American businessman and farmer. Hobbs was born in Warren County, Tennessee and he moved to Eagleville, Tennessee, Rutherford County, Tennessee with his mother in 1949 after he death of his father. Hobbs lived in Eagleville, Tennessee with his wife and family. He was a cattle farmer, realtor, and auctioneer. Hobbs served as Mayor of Eagleville and also served on the Rutherford County Board of Education. Warren County, Tennessee
Warren County is a county located on the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee, one of the three Grand Divisions of the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2010 census, the population was 39,839. Its county seat is McMinnville. Warren County comprises the McMinnville, TN Micropolitan Statistical Area. History Warren County was created in 1807 from a portion of White County, and named for Joseph Warren (1741–1775), a soldier in the American Revolution. The revised Tennessee State Constitution of 1834 stated that no new county could be within of the county seat of the county from which it was formed. The boundaries of five counties formed from Warren— Grundy, Van Buren, Cannon, Coffee and DeKalb— were exactly 12 miles from Warren's county seat, McMinnville, giving the county its distinctive round shape. Eagleville, Tennessee
Eagleville is a city in Rutherford County, Tennessee. The population was 604 at the 2010 census. History Eagleville was founded in 1832, and was originally named "Manchester." When a post office opened in 1836, the city changed its name to "Eagleville," since the name Manchester was already taken. According to local lore, the name was inspired by an unusually large eagle killed in the vicinity. Eagleville was part of Williamson County until 1877, when it agreed to join Rutherford after Williamson County refused to build a road connecting Eagleville with Franklin, the county seat. In 2015, Eagleville completed its sewer system. The $3.1 million project was financed by a low-interest loan and a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). As of the 2021 census, the population was 352,182, making it the fifth-most populous county in Tennessee.
