Fred Buljo
Fred-René Øvergård Buljo (born 6 February 1988), better known as simply Fred Buljo, is a Norwegian Sámi rapper and joiker. Buljo is a member of the Sámi rap duo Duolva Duottar, consisting of Buljo and Ole Mahtte Gaup, established in 2007. In 2008 the group made a breakthrough when they participated in '' Norske Talenter'' and reached the final. He also is one of members of the Norwegian supergroup KEiiNO, alongside Alexandra Rotan and Tom Hugo, the group was created in late 2018 in preparation for the participation in Melodi Grand Prix 2019., they won the contest and so were selected to represent Norway in the 2019 Eurovision Contest, coming in 7th in the semifinals, and 6th in the final, with the song " Spirit in the Sky". As well as being a musician, Buljo also has served in the Sami Parliament for the party Árja, first as a deputy from 2013 to 2016, and as an MP and parliamentary leader in the period 2016–2017. The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Tel Aviv, Israel, following the country's victory at the 2018 contest with the song " Toy" by Netta. NRK Sápmi (previously NRK Sámi Radio) is a unit of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) that streams news and other programs in the Sami language for broadcast to the Sami people of Norway via radio, television, and internet. Regular radio news programs in Sami began in 1946, presented from Tromsø by the teacher Kathrine Johnsen (1917–2002), remembered today as "Sami Radio's Mother". In 1976, NRK Sámi Radio moved to Kárášjohka (Karasjok), and in 1984 to its current headquarters (also in Kárášjohka). NRK Sápmi has about 17 journalists based in Deatnu (Tana), Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino), Olmmaivaggi in Gáivuotna, Tromsø, Skånland, Tysfjord, Snåsa, and Oslo. Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen
Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen (born 25 April 1998) is a Sami musician from Tana, Norway. In 2016 she won the Sámi Grand Prix with her original song ''Luoddaearru'', and in 2017 she won Liet International with the same song. In 2017 Isaksen started the band ISÁK. In October 2018 she won the NRK-show ''Stjernekamp''. She was the county leader in the environmental protection organization Natur og Ungdom from January 2015 until January 2016. She continued her work in the organization until she was hired as a campaign secretary in Natur og Ungdom in the autumn of 2017. Furthermore, she was elected to the central board of the organization in January 2018, where she sat for six months, until she chose to focus on music in the summer of 2018.
