Frazer Field
Joe Frazer Field is an athletic field in Newark, Delaware that was used for the University of Delaware's baseball, track and field, football and tennis teams. The stadium was dedicated on June 18, 1913. The field's construction was made possible through a large memorial donation by the parents of Joseph Heckart Frazer, a 1903 graduate of Delaware College. Fraser Field
Fraser Field is a baseball park in Lynn, Massachusetts that has played host to many minor-league baseball teams over the years. The North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League call Fraser Field home. In the springtime, Fraser Field is home to the Falcons of Fisher College. History General Electric, a large employer in the city, arranged floodlights on the site for a night game against Salem on June 24, 1927. The company has made the refuted claim that this was the first night game ever played. Fraser Field was built in 1940. Like Holman Stadium in Nashua, New Hampshire, Fraser was a project of the Works Progress Administration during the New Deal. The Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens are the athletic teams of the University of Delaware of Newark, Delaware, in the United States. The Blue Hens compete in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as members of the Colonial Athletic Association.
