François Pitot (figure Skater)
François Pitot (born 4 January 2005) is a French figure skater. He is the 2025 French national silver medalist, a two-time French national bronze medalist (2023, 2024), the 2024 Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist, and the 2025 Coupe du Printemps champion. At the junior level, Pitot is the 2024 French junior national champion, 2023 JGP Japan champion, the 2023 JGP Thailand silver medalist, and the 2021 JGP France I bronze medalist. Personal life Pitot was born on 4 January 2005 in Orléans, France. His figure skating idol is Nathan Chen. Career Early years Pitot began learning how to skate in 2012 at age seven. He initially pursued football as a child, but decided to try skating as his brother and sister were already involved in the sport and quickly came to enjoy it. The Tallinn Trophy is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), organized and hosted in Tallinn, Estonia, by the Estonian Skating Union (). It debuted in 2002 as a regional competition before expanding as an international event in 2011 and joining the ISU Challenger Series in 2015. Medals are awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance; and when the event is part of the Challenger Series, skaters earn ISU World Standing points based on their results. 2022 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2022 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held from April 13–17, 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. Figure skaters competed for the title of junior world champion in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation during the 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and at the 2023 World Junior Championships. The competition was originally scheduled to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria from March 7–13, 2022. On February 27, the ISU announced that in light of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bulgaria and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the event would be unable to be held as scheduled in Bulgaria. Vuokatti
Vuokatti is an urban area that is a physically separate part of the municipality of Sotkamo, Finland. It is home to more than 6,000 inhabitants, making it the second most populous urban area in the region of Kainuu, after the main urban area of the municipality of Kajaani. Vuokatti is also the name of the nearby forested hill range and the urban area's train station. The highest hill in the area is the 345 meter high Porttivaara, the second highest being Vuokatinvaara. The 2021–22 ISU Junior Grand Prix was a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union that were held from August 2021 through December 2021. It was the junior-level complement to the 2021–22 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Florent Amodio
Florent Amodio (born 12 May 1990) is a French figure skating coach and former competitor. He is the 2011 European champion, a four-time French national champion (2010, 2013-2015), and the 2008 JGP Final champion. He has represented France at two Winter Olympics. Personal life Florent Amodio was born in Sobral, Ceará, Brazil. A French couple adopted him as an infant, along with his sister. He was raised in Fremainville, Val-d'Oise. He holds both French and Brazilian citizenship. In addition to competing, Amodio has also studied for a coaching diploma. In 2012, he took on a starring role in the movie ''Programme Libre'', in which he portrays a teenaged skater named Gauthier. Amodio intends to study journalism and pursue a career in that field. Vaujany () is a commune in the canton of Oisans-Romanche, in the Isère department in southeastern France. The village is picturesque, with excellent views of the Grand Galbert mountain at the head of the valley.
