François Imbeau-Dulac
François Imbeau-Dulac (born 9 December 1990) is a Canadian diver. He began diving at the age of 9, and began competing internationally in 2006. In 2011 Imbeau-Dulac broke the Canadian record (held at the time by Alexandre Despatie) in the 1m springboard event. He competed in the 3 m springboard event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He placed 13th, just short of making the final. He competed in the 3 m springboard and the 1 m springboard events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. With Jennifer Abel, he won the silver medal in the 3 m mixed synchronised diving at the 2015 World Aquatics Championship. At the 2017 World Aquatics Championship, he and Abel again won a medal in the mixed synchronised diving event, this time bronze. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, he competed in the men's 3 m springboard event and the men's 3 m synchronised springboard event, winning the silver medal with Philippe Gagne. The men's synchronised 3 metre springboard was part of the Diving at the 2018 Commonwealth Games program. The competition was held on 13 April 2018 at Gold Coast Aquatic Centre in the Gold Coast, Australia, Gold Coast. Schedule All times are AEST (UTC+10) Format A single round was held, with each team making six dives. Eleven judges scored each dive: three for each diver, and five for synchronisation. Only the middle score counted for each diver, with the middle three counting for synchronisation. Purging Disorder
Purging disorder is an eating disorder characterized by the DSM-5 as self-induced vomiting, or misuse of laxatives, diuretics, or enemas to forcefully evacuate matter from the body. Purging disorder differs from bulimia nervosa (BN) because individuals do not consume a large amount of food before they purge. In current diagnostic systems, purging disorder is a form of other specified feeding or eating disorder. Research indicates that purging disorder, while not rare, is not as commonly found as anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa. This syndrome is associated with clinically significant levels of distress, and that it appears to be distinct from bulimia nervosa on measures of hunger and ability to control food intake. Philippe Gagné (born October 23, 1997) is a Canadian elite diver. He won a silver medal at the 10 m platform and a bronze medal at the 3 m springboard at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. 2015 World Aquatics Championships
The 16th FINA World Championships (russian: Чемпионат мира по водным видам спорта 2015), also Aquatics 2015, were held in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015. Russia hosted this event for the first time. The number of participating national teams (190), athletes (2,400) and the number of medals (75) were the most ever amongst these championships. Jennifer Abel
Jennifer Abel (born August 23, 1991) is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion in the 1 m and 3 m synchronized springboard; and is also a three-time Pan American Games champion in the 3 m springboard and 3 m synchronized springboard. Her ten medals (six silver, four bronze) at the FINA World Championships are a record for most medals by a Canadian in diving at the world championships.
