François Du Toit
François du Toit is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with Spanish División de Honor side FC Barcelona. His usual position is hooker. Career He came through the youth system and played for them at various youth levels. Despite being named on the bench for the opening game of the 2010 Currie Cup Premier Division season, he only made his debut 2 years later in the 2012 Vodacom Cup game against the . He was then also included in the squad for the 2012 Currie Cup Premier Division. He also represented in the 2011 and 2012 Varsity Cup competitions. Francois Cornelius du Toit (born 16 March 1990) is a South African professional rugby union player, currently playing with the . His regular position is fly-half, but he can play in a variety of backline positions, such as inside centre, wing or fullback. Career Youth / UFS Shimlas / Free State (2007–13) Du Toit attended Grey College in Bloemfontein, where he earned call-ups to represent the Free State at youth tournaments. The Vodacom Cup was an annual rugby union competition in South Africa. Annual Vodacom Cup competitions were played between its inaugural season in 1998 and 2015 and was contested between February and May each year. The Vodacom Cup was the successor of the Bankfin Nite Series which was played in 1996 and 1997. Mobile communications provider Vodacom was the title sponsor for the entire duration of the competition. The competition was the third most prestigious in South African rugby, behind Super Rugby and the Currie Cup.
