François Compaoré
François Compaoré (born 11 January 1954) is a Burkinabé politician. He was Economic Adviser to the President of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compaoré, from 1989 to 2014; he is Compaoré's younger brother. Life and career At the Fifth Ordinary Congress of the Congress for Democracy and Progress (CDP), François Compaoré was designated as a member of the CDP's National Executive Secretariat, with the post of Secretary of the Associative Movement, on 4 March 2012. Ouagadougou ( , , ) is the capital and largest city of Burkina Faso and the administrative, communications, cultural, and economic centre of the nation. It is also the country's largest city, with a population of 2,415,266 in 2019. The city's name is often shortened to ''Ouaga''. The inhabitants are called ''ouagalais''.
