Franziska Petri
Franziska Petri (born 17 August 1973) is a German actress. Biography After ballet and vocal training in the childhood, Franziska Petri attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1992 to 1995 as a singer in several bands. In addition she is a skilled milliner. During drama studies she played at the Schiller Theater. Her first television role was a guest appearance in the Wolffs Revier series in 1993. After a few other television roles she played her first film role in '' The Big Mambo'' in 1998. To a wider audience she became known in 2000 by the lead role in Vanessa Jopp's film '' Forget America''. The 67th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 9 to 18 February 2017 with Dutch filmmaker Paul Verhoeven as President of the Jury. ''SOKO Stuttgart'' (English title: ''Stuttgart Homicide'') is a German police procedural television series that premiered on 12 November 2009 on ZDF. It is the eighth offshoot of ''SOKO München'', launched in 1978 under the name ''SOKO 5113''. "SOKO" is an abbreviation of the German word ''Sonderkommission'', which means "special investigative team". The first season of ''Stuttgart Homicide'', consisting of twenty episodes, aired on ZDF from November 2009. In February 2022, filming began on the fourteenth season, made up of twenty-five episodes.
