Currently Franz Wöss Racing competes in the Remus F3 Cup. The team did also participate in the now folded German Formula 3 Championship occasionally. Franz Wöss Racing didn't aim to compete for championships in German Formula 3, but rather entered and prepared any car from well-funded or so-called 'gentleman drivers'. From 2006 to 2013, with the exceptions of Hamad Al Fardan and their 2011 entries, they competed only in the Trophy Class which was restricted to older Formula 3 cars. The Austria Formula 3 Cup is an open wheel racing series based in Austria. The series has run since 1982 and regular visits such circuits as the Salzburgring and the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the Autodrom Most and the Brno Circuit in the Czech Republic and the Hockenheimring in Germany. Mugen Motorsports (無限), legally known as M-TEC Company, Ltd., is a Japanese company formed in 1973 by Hirotoshi Honda, the son of Honda Motor Company founder Soichiro Honda, and Masao Kimura. 1991 German Formula Three Championship
The 1991 German Formula Three Championship (german: 1991 Deutsche Formel-3-Meisterschaft) was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It commenced on 31 March at Zolder and ended at Hockenheim on 28 September after eleven rounds. Volkswagen Motorsport driver Tom Kristensen became a champion. He won three races and scored another four podium finishes to clinch the championship title. Marco Werner finished as runner-up, winning on Diepholz Airfield Circuit. ORECA (Organisation Exploitation Compétition Automobiles) is a French racing team and race car constructor, founded in 1973 and run by Hugues de Chaunac, former team manager of F1 team AGS. Oreca has had success in many areas of motorsport. Since the early 1990s the team has concentrated on running sports cars and GT cars. The Dallara F312 is an open-wheel racing car developed by Italian manufacturer Dallara for use in all Formula Three categories. The car has proved to be one of the most popular Formula 3 Chassis ever, with over 53 of the original type having been produced.
