Franz Schönhuber
Franz Xaver Schönhuber (10 January 1923 – 27 November 2005) was a German right-wing extremist journalist, politician, and author. He gained fame as a founder and eventual chairman of the right-wing German party The Republicans. He was a member of the Waffen-SS during World War II . Career Schönhuber attended Gymnasium in Munich and gained his Abitur in 1942. As a nineteen-year-old he was a member of the Hitler Youth and a member of the Nazi Party. He voluntarily joined the Waffen-SS and was deployed at the front. He has claimed to have been an instructor and translator for the French ''Charlemagne'' brigade. As a SS-''Unterscharführer'', he gained a second class Iron Cross. After the war during the denazification process, the Allies classified him as a key participant. He then began a career as a journalist and wrote for several established newspapers including the '' Münchner Abendzeitung'' and the '' Deutsche Woche''. He was also chief editor for tz. Gerhard Frey (politician)
Gerhard Michael Frey (18 February 1933 – 19 February 2013) was a German publisher, businessman and politician. He was the chairman and main financial backer of the right-wing party German People's Union, Deutsche Volksunion, which he founded in 1971. He resigned as chairman in January 2009. Biography Gerhard Frey was born on 18 February 1933 in Cham, Germany, Cham. He studied law. In 1960 Frey received his PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Graz, Austria. His dissertation was a study of the trade pattern between Austria and Germany. He was married to Regine Frey, with whom he had four children. His daughter Michaela (born 1965) is an attorney, his son Gerhard Jr. (born 1969) is a lawyer. Frey died on 19 February 2013, the day after his 80th birthday, in Gräfelfing near Munich. The National Democratic Party of Germany (german: Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands or NPD) is a far-right Neo-Nazi and ultranationalist political party in Germany. Harald Neubauer
Harald Neubauer (born 3 December 1951 in Hamburg) is a German politician and journalist from the far right scene. He was a Member of the European Parliament from 1989 to 1994. Neubauer was trained as an overseas buyer and undertook military service in the Bundeswehr. He was a member of the National Democratic Party of Germany from 1969 to 1972 and again from 1975 to 1981 but became associated with Gerhard Frey and the German People's Union, editing Frey's newspaper ''Deutschen Anzeigers'' (1975–1983). In 1983 he joined ''Die Republikaner'' and became press advisor of party founder Franz Schönhuber the following year.
